With only a bachelor's degree, your job opportunities are very limited. Being a daytime attendant in a group home would be an example. The competition for these low-paying jobs is surprisingly tough. With an MSW, your job opportunities in the profession are unlimited and the pay can be six times or more as high, especially if you become licensed as an LCSW or the equivalent in your state and open your own practice.
