BSW is 4 years like any other undergrad program. MSW is usually a 2 year full-time program, although there may be accelerated or part-time options shortening or lengthening the program, respectively.

4-years minimum for your bachelors, but of course it could take longer than that depending on if you enroll full-time or part-time. Basically it all depends on how fast you move through the courses. And about a 2 year minimum for masters, but again all depends on how fast you move through it.

4 yrs but rich ppl can get less cuz they get home school. in any field you have a least 4 yrs to complete any master degree. Dr, lawyers takes more yrs

here is an excellent option for you... Masters Programme in Government - MITSOG MIT School of Government is Asia’s first institute to offer a one-year, full-time MASTERS PROGRAM IN GOVERNMENT (MPG) – a leadership training program that prepares students for a career in Politics & Government. Google MITSOG to find out more. If you are fed up with today’s politicians, want to make a difference in society or want to join politics but don’t know where to start - MIT School of Government can show you the way. Thank you for your time. This is Rahul Bhatia helping MITSOG nurture leaders who care.

If I were you, I would go to a university simply because the University of Phoenix has become a joke. If you don't have the time to actually go to school or it is hard to fit into your schedule then there are many universities that offer a good portion or all of the degree online. I just googled "master of social work online" and found that Florida State offers an online degree. If you were to follow an option like this then you can have a name on your diploma that is not such a joke and you can also have the flexibility of online classes.

What are the best U.S. graduate schools for international social work
What are the best U.S. graduate schools for international social work?
I'm starting to apply to schools to get a Master in Social Work. I'm specifically interested in schools with a strong international focus. My professional aspirations revolve around working with refugees and displaced persons. Considering these interests, what are the best U.S. graduate schools for me? What schools should I begin with?

The University of Michigan--Ann Arbor has a dual phd in social work and social science that will allow you to focus on international social work. Their MSW program is also really good. Other good options are Columbia University New York and University of California--Berkeley.

Depending on the school and the degree, I believe you would find Counseling to be a better match for working with at-risk students - if you mean working as a Counselor in a mental health clinic or private provider office. If you mean working as a SCHOOL Counselor, the MSW would probably serve just as well - and some programs design their MSW degrees to meet the needs of School Counseling in particular.

Social work is counseling. You could get your BSW in social work then your MSW in children and family. With coical work, there are more job availabilities.
