Become a school counselor, make less than 30,000 a year, and be shat on by bratty kids for 9 hours a day 5 days a week

Very different paths. MSW allows you to be licensed for clinical social work.. meaning you can work in hospitals, clinics, HMOs, and govt agencies to provide mental health services.. Masters in psychology wont get you much. Unable to be licensed as a clinical psychologist since that requires a doctoral degree.
